GPRS Setting

Hello Friends!

Welcome back. As I told, I was busy in my departmental training since 19th of September. The same has been completed and period of hard work and tension is over. Perhaps I will now get some relaxation and time to be with you. This my training was about Electronics and Communication as I am working in Police Telecommunications Department. In the training I learnt a lot about Electronics, Satellite communication, Network topologies, POLNET, Microwave communications and many other newer technologies. I had been daily passenger and got a much less time to study, but as I have already told you in my previous blogs that instead of long sessions of study it is always better to study in short durations of 30 minutes each. So I utilized the bus journey time to study. And I hope my result should be among top 6 trainees, out of 22 from all State Police and Paramilitary forces. So I once again stress if you study or prepare for any comptetion, you should always practise to study for short duration sessions instead of long and boring sessions. Let us wait and see what the result will be.
I got an email from a friend/reader of the blog. He wanted to know the gprs setting for his Samsung j700 mobile for BSNL. As I have never used the mobile so I am not concrete about the settings. I urge if any of you know kindly tell by commenting on the post, so that others may also benefit from your knowledge and experience. However I am giving a link here that is claiming to give gprs settings for all types of mobiles for all the operators. Kindly try and comment if claim is true or settings are working. You may try the link.
As I have mentioned some topics of my curriculum of the training, if any body of you want some help or guidance you may email me or comment here. I will be very glad to help and do what I am capable of. I have taken broadband connection and I may be available on Yahoo messenger specially on Saturdays and Sundays, my yahoo id is asiraj_67 you may add me as a friend or may call me on 919466118989. You may also use Wiziq for the purpose. The link is iven in the signatures. Yes, you do not forget to check my website about computers http://www.desirachh.in which is now in new format and view. Check and comment if any improvemet should be done and you want some thing to be included.
Thanks and happy reading.

  5. Hello Patrick,
I have used Motorola L6i for BSNL and Airtel and can provide manual settings for both if you or any body requires. However I have given a link of a website in this post that claims to provide settings for any model of handset and for any service provider. So try it and let me know if it works or not.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

  10. Yes, this is a great idea, but this is in its preliminary stage in India due to less speed and high costs of broadband connections. A poor man can't afford this easily. We have to wait for some time to see this idea flourishing.
    Thanks for posting.
